How Does ELO Support Secure Networking

Data Encryption

ELOView communicates through HTTPS using TLS 1.2 or newer.
Device credentials and telemetry are encrypted end-to-end. Even if someone intercepts network traffic, data cannot be read without the device’s private keys.

Local communications between peripherals also use secure USB HID protocols that prevent command injection.

Authentication

Each ELO device carries a unique cryptographic identity.
When connecting to ELOView, servers validate authenticity through certificates. Unauthorized hardware cannot register or issue control commands.

Administrators can assign user roles to control who manages or monitors devices. Multi-factor authentication for admin accounts further protects access.
